KINSMEN GROUP ROUNDS OUT EXPERTISE AND GLOBAL REACH WITH ADDITION OF INDUSTRY LEADERS

Newly formed Kinsmen Group, a service organization dedicated to providing engineering information management (EIM) services, announced today it is substantially enhancing its industry expertise and global reach with the addition of five key industry veterans based in the U.S. and the U.K.

New Kinsmen Group employees will provide a deep bench of industry understanding and include Paul Cheetham, Nimesh Gandhi, and Lara Graham, all based in the U.K., as well as Greg Van Wormer and William Zarco, based in the U.S.

Brian Sallade, CEO of Kinsmen Group, indicated the addition of key industry veterans represents a significant achievement for the company.

“Our new team members are top-notch talent who – thanks to the breadth of their many years of first-hand experience with engineering content management and document control – understand our clients’ needs and how to deliver the greatest value to them,” said Brian Sallade, Kinsmen Group CEO. “This aligns completely with the company’s dedication to understanding the highly specialized needs of global companies who want to manage their engineering information as effectively as possible,” said Sallade.Kinsmen Group launched earlier this year with a commitment to offering specialized solutions and services for engineering information management. The company’s services are ideally suited for asset-intensive organizations including process manufacturers and large companies in industries, such as oil and gas, utilities, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

With expert guidance from the Kinsmen Group, clients benefit from solutions that help keep engineering information under control. Clients can achieve higher returns while reducing risk on costly assets within a safe and compliant environment by maximizing interoperability between design, construction and operational processes. Expert advice and implementation also ensures organizations have the tools, controls and data they need to be most productive, effectively harnessing the information contained in potentially millions of engineering documents scattered across the enterprise.

Additionally, Kinsmen Group offers consulting services to help companies determine what value they could expect by implementing a system along with gap assessments to determine what is missing from their existing processes or systems relative to what is considered industry best practices. The company also provides remote system administration, technical support, document control, drafting services and user adoption and transition services to help companies manage their systems and EIM processes without requiring dedicated internal resources.

Company co-founders, Brian Sallade and Jessica Bianchessi, who hail from BlueCielo ECM Solutions and McLaren Software respectively, are committed to offering a service-oriented approach to managing engineering information, along with a handful of specialized services to help customers use these systems during the complete asset lifecycle.

Cheetham, formerly vice president of global services at McLaren Software and a 16-year veteran at the company, will step in at Kinsmen Group to lead the technical team in delivering the highest quality solutions to customers. Gandhi and Graham also join from McLaren Software, where they served as principal architect and solution architect respectively, and will be providing solution architecture and consulting services.

While at BP and BG Group, Zarco honed his skills as project manager for implementing an engineering data warehouse and document management coordinator for large-scale construction projects. He will offer similar consulting services to Kinsmen Group clients. Van Wormer will join the team as a solution consultant. Having previously worked at McLaren Software as a global principal business consultant and Weyerhaeuser Engineering Services as engineering systems manager, he will be providing consulting services and solutions to engineering process problems based on his engineering experience.
