    About the job


    As a global software & services business, we urgently seek a Project Manager to join our team, to take primary responsibility for the on-schedule and on-budget delivery of our numerous software implementation and consultancy services projects.

    We provide information and content solutions to a wide range of asset intensive industries, including energy, oil & gas, utilities, pharmaceutical and more.

    The Project Manager will primarily manage a number of our ongoing projects, co-ordinating resources with other Project Managers, and seek to ensure maximum quality throughout the delivery cycle of our projects. In addition, we look for all employees to support and contribute to our continuous improvement program to strive towards achieving the best customer experience possible.

    Working alongside our existing Project Managers, numerous Solution Architects and Technical Consultants spread between UK and USA, the role will require the day-to-day management of project tasks and commitments to customers.


    Key Areas of Responsibility


    • Manage software implementation & consulting projects to drive success in achieving business & customer goals
    • Create and maintain project schedules and closely manage all related tasks and deliverables
    • Present status reports to customers at regular intervals
    • Track budgets, margins, schedules, and general project issues at all times
    • Identify and manage project risks throughout the project cycle
    • Create proposals, estimations and quotations for consulting and implementation services
    • Provide input to revenue forecasting and budgeting
    • Manage sub-contractor agreements and work orders
    • Collaborate closely with the resourcing team to maximize use of 20 technical resources
    • Support our sales function through presentation of our proven methodologies, best practices and quality management system where required
    • Support other Project Managers as required
    • Support our internal initiatives to always adapt and improve our procedures, policies and delivery techniques


    About You


    To be successful in this role you must be a highly motivated individual that can demonstrate flexibility and a can-do attitude. You should ensure positive, productive, and proactive relationships with a range of internal and external key stakeholders


    As the successful candidate you must have:


    • High level of computer literacy
    • Experience of project management within a software/services delivery organization
    • Experience in delivery of document management solutions is an advantage
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Appropriate home working facilities, based in the US, and the right to work in the US
